Extensions are only in Javascript, for me, I rely mostly on extensions that others built. I think I mentioned "All 3 can run scripts in multiple languages", but Raycast scripts, as far as I know, is not as powerful as extensions. Sharing is really the spirit of Alfred's community! I have only been using Alfred for less than a month and have already created some workflows loved by the community and also have one selected in the official gallery. Raycast extensions and scripts are more centralized (both pros and cons) and require more keystrokes to run and exit an extension (a definite con to me). Some other words: Love all 3, but prefer and kept using Alfred and KM compared to Raycast. For Alfred and Raycast, besides all those you can also work with APIs to interact with services. For KM, Interaction with apps is limited to URL schemes, shortcuts, and Applescript. Alfred and Raycast is a launcher where you can search for information and launch a bunch of things. If you don't write your own workflow, I think there are more community workflows in Alfred available as well since it is an older software. In order to do that in Raycast, you have to use their extension API. Alfred workflow uses a script filter to display the output of scripts more clearly. Alfred > KM > Raycast: Running scripts and retrieving output in Raycast and KM is a bit limited compared to Alfred.Raycast extensions are written only in Javascript and Typescript, for anyone who knows little about JS (like me), is quite hard. Both Alfred and KM provide more user-friendly GUI actions and some example workflows for you to learn, but KM provides more ways to trigger workflows. All 3 can run scripts in multiple languages if you are into programming. I have also been using Raycast since early launch.
