Not wanting to disappoint Steve and ruin another chance of helping him, Francine decides not to tell and give it to the judges and hope the effects doesn't happen until after he wins. As Steve headed back upstairs to practice his sure win of the contest, Francine and the others began to feel terrible as their skin turned yellowish color and sweating on their foreheads, discovering that Hungunder not only delays the effects of hangovers, but makes them significantly worse. Hearing about that, Steve decides to go with the idea and help create a new batch of beer for the project.Īs Francine and the other Beer Boys recreate the newly named Hungunder beer, Steve arrives to tell them that Hungunder beer is now his new project and was told by Principal Lewis to bring some to him and the other judges to test it out and thanks her for his help. Steve still isn't convinced about the idea as he still blames her for ruining his project until she brings up that this would be perfect as she stated that they did something that mankind have been trying to create for hundreds of years. The next morning, Francine wakes up after she and the Boys drank all the beer in the jug, only to learn that she doesn't have a hangover and goes to Steve's room to reveal that the beer she accidentally created doesn't give the effect as normal alcohol and feels great. Now more depressed, Francine and the other Beer Boys decided to drink the beer. Steve is upset that Francine has ruined his project until Klaus arrives and reveals that the incident caused the ethanol to turn into beer, even bringing members of "The Beer Boys" to confirm that this is beer. Later when Steve arrives, he sees his project ruined and he called Francine, who tries to make up an alibi about being out of town when it happened, but is forced to admit the truth. In a black and white I Love Lucy scenario, Francine tries to stop it, only for the homemade ethanol to burst out, causing Francine to whine, ending the scenario. Wanting to prove herself, Francine decides to help but making the homemade ethanol ferment like it was supposed to do but when she opens the stopper on the plastic jug, most of the ethanol pours out, which results in Francine using the dirty laundry to block the passage, which causes some of the dirty laundry to fall into the jug and the remaining ethanol to create bubbles. After finishing up with the job, Francine overhears Steve and Klaus talking about how the homemade ethanol isn't fermenting and how Steve finds it annoying that Francine wants to help rather than just supervise. She threatens to rip up the form if he doesn't let her help and Steve tells her just to hammer nails on one block of wood. Francine suggests that they should help create bubbles by blowing inside of the jug, but Steve wants to figure out his project himself. Steve arrives in the basement to see that the homemade ethanol hasn't fermenting as it doesn't show bubbles. When she tells Stan about helping Steve with his project, he points out that it's because she's no challenge to him and he views her as an easy A grade. Steve then hands Francine a parental supervision form that so he can do his project, which Francine thought that Stan would be the one to sign it but after being reminded that she's his parent too, Francine signs it and learns that Steve doesn't want any more from her with this project. When Francine goes down to the basement after another night of drinking and having an hangover, she sees Steve working on his homemade ethanol project for the "Young Entrepreneur" contest, which will ensure his shot of getting into a good college.
